Sporting a 2-8 record, the Bengals is the underdog in their game due to the superior record of the home-team 8-2 in the current NFL season.

The Bengals face a tough task in achieving their third win in the 2010 NFL season against the Jets, who are on a three-game winning streak.

Historically speaking, the Bengals had been unsuccessful in its games against the Jets who have won eight of their last nine meetings.

To defeat the Jets, the Bengals need to score big and limit the performance of Jets superstar quarterback Mark Sanchez, who had been instrumental in the team’s success this year.

In the current winning run of the Jets, Sanchez was simply awesome as he threw for 950 yards and six TDs and the offense totaled more than 400 yards in each.

If the Bengals can ruin the night of Sanchez, they have a chance to defeat the Jets and hand them their third loss this year in-front of its own fans.

The Jets on the other hand can avoid an upset if Sanchez will continue to play great in their game.

The home-team can also easily dispatch the Bengals if they will continue to play with good offence and impose stone-wall defense on the visiting team.

The Jets had been a force to reckon in defense in the 2010 NFL season by only allowing 40 points in the fourth quarter of the last four games and has forced a total of three turnovers.

The Jets forced 14 in their first seven games.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan is confident if his team will just follow their game-plan there no reason they will not win against the Bengals.

Teams: Cincinnati Bengals, New York Jets

This developed after the Vikings made a bold move to fire long-time coach Brad Childress.

The Viking made the decision to dismiss Childress from the team due to the bad record of the team in the current NFL season at 3-7.

Aside from the bad record of the team, the Vikings also made the move to fire Childress due to his recent ill-advised decisions that greatly affected the team’s chances this year.

Now that they have decided to fire Childress, the team hopes the players will now play with more focus and determination this year.

Before losing his job, Childress went 40-37 with the Vikings, including 1-2 in the playoffs.

He was all in with Vikings superstar quarterback  Brett Favre, riding his incredible 2009 season to the NFC championship game and then going down this year under the weight of his struggles to regain that rhythm.

Assuming the position as temporary head coach of the Vikings in the remainder of the current NFL season is defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier.

Frazier is very happy with his new job and he made a vow that he will do his best to bring back success to the NFL franchise.

Teams: Minnesota Vikings

The Bears recently defeated the Miami Dolphins to a morale boosting 16-0 victory to increase further its NFL playoff hopes this year.

The win improves the Bears record to 7-3 while dropping the Dolphins to a 5-5 win-loss record in the ongoing NFL season.

Bears star defensive end Julius Peppers was the main man in the team’s victory by allowing the Dolphins only 187 yards and a single third-down conversion in the game.

Peppers had a huge game against the Dolphins as he also added three sacks to carry the team to its first shutout win since Nov. 19, 2006, against the Jets.

Peppers got a huge support in the victory from Bears star running back Matt Forte, who carried 25 times for 97 yards and a score for the team, who converted 10 of 18 third-down situations and controlled the ball for nearly 38

minutes.

To emerge victorious in the game, the Bears had a great defensive plan as they successfully prevented the Dolphins from scoring in the game.

The bad games of the Dolphins at their own arena had been attributed to the injuries suffered by some of the key players of team that includes the team’s top two quarterbacks Chad Pennington and Chad Henne.

In the game, the third-string quarterback of the Bears, Tyler Thigpen failed to produce a great game as he suffered six sacks in his first NFL start since 2008, which lead to their loss.

Thigpen is the 15th quarterback to start for the Dolphins since Dan Marino.

Tony Sparano, the Dolphins coach is sad with their losses at home but he remained confident his team can still recover from its problem.

Teams: Chicago Bear, Miami Dolphins

The success of the Eagles this year had been anchored mainly on the strong performance of its superstar quarterback Michael Vick.

In the recent 59-28 victory of the Eagles over the Washington Redskins, Vick was the top performer of his team as he scored six touchdowns against the home-team.

The win hiked the Eagles record to 6-3 win-loss record while dropping the Redskins to 4-5 record in the current NFL season.

Vick once again starred big-time for the Eagles in their victory as he became the first player in NFL history with at least 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a game.

The superstar quarterback was very inspired in the game as he was also able to complete his first 10 passes and finished 20 for 28 for 333 yards.

He also ran eight times for 80 yards and two scores, moving past Steve Young and into second place in NFL history for yards rushing by a quarterback.

Fueled by the huge game from Vick, the rest of the Eagles followed the lead of Vick they were able to set team records for total yards in a game (592), points in a half (45) and had the biggest lead after the first quarter for any NFL road team (28-0) since at least 1950.

The victory catapulted the Eagles into a first-place tie with the New York Giants in the division, with both teams’ two games ahead of the Redskins.

Sadness was written all over the faces of the Redskins with their disappointing loss in-front of their fans.

Redskins superstar quarterback Donovan Mcnabb was outplayed by Vick in their game as he only finished 17 for 31 for 295 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions; nearly all of the yards coming after the Redskins had dug themselves a five-touchdown hole.

Teams: Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins.

Despite their 0-8 win-loss record, the Bills are confident that they could beat the Lions who have a superior 2-6 record than them in the current National Football League season.

Although the Lions have a better record than the Bills, the home-team have a good chance of beating the visitor since the latter is struggling big-time while playing on the road.

According to the data from the NFL,the Lions have loss 24 straight on the road from Sept. 9, 2001-Dec. 21, 2003, have lost three of their four road games this year by eight points or fewer.

It was learned that the only wins of the Lions this year all came at their own home arena.

Although they are underdog in the game against the Lions, NFL experts said if the home-team plays its best they have a good chance for an upset against the visiting NFL team.

To defeat the Lions, the Bills need to play hard and limit their turnovers.

In order to have a better chance of beating the Lions, newly acquired star linebacker Shawne Merriman should make his debut for his new team on Sunday.

If Merriman can play in the game, the Bills have more chances of beating the Lions due to the big contribution in terms of defense the linebacker can give to his team.

To avoid defeat and an upset, the Lions need to play 101 percent and not allow the Bills to get energized by their fans.

Lions new starting quarterback Shaun Hill also need to play hard to ensure his team will not lose against the Bills.

Hill assumed the Lions starting quarterback role after original starter Matthew Stafford suffered a shoulder injury in a 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets last Sunday.

The NFL experts said the Lions can defeat the Bills again, since their first meeting in 2006 where the Lions won 20-17 if Hill will have an A-game.

Teams: Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions

This developed after the Dolphins faces the visiting Tennessee Titans in hope of improving its 4-4 win-loss record in the 2010 NFL season.

The game against the Titans is a huge one for the Dolphins since the Titans like them is also equally determined to improve its 5-3 record this NFL season.

Despite its home-arena advantage, the Dolphins are the underdog in the game as the Titans hold a superior win-loss record than them.

To defeat the Titans and get their fifth win in the current NFL season, the Dolphins management has designated back-up quarterback Chad Pennington as the new starting quarterback of the team against the Titans.

Pennington replaces buddy Chad Henne as the starting quarterback of the starting in the game against the Titans.

Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said the move of the management might be surprising but he realized it is the right to do at the moment especially that the team are in dire need of wins.

Sparano said Pennington and Henne are both great NFL stars but based on his evaluation, he observed that the 11-year veteran Pennington is the right fit the Dolphins at this time.

Pennington expressed joy over his promotion and promised that he will do his best to bring success to the team this year.

Henne on the other-hand is disappointed with his demotion but he still fully respects the Dolphins management for their decision.

He wished Pennington all the success after-all the former had been a mentor for him in his three-year career in the NFL.

To bring back the spark and success to the Dolphins a huge challenge await Pennington.

In order to score an upset the Dolphins needs to play as a team and avoid crucial turnovers.

Teams: Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans

Favre once again played hero when he lead the home-team Minnesota Vikings to a thrilling 27-24 victory over the visiting Arizona Cardinals in the ongoing NFL season.

In the game, Favre was spectacular as he threw for 446 yards, more than he had throw in in any of his previous 285 career regular season starts.

Favre also 36 completions which tied for the most in his career (had 36 on Dec. 5, 1993 at Bears) to improve his team’s win-loss record to 3-5 which ties the Cardinals this year.

The superstar quarterback was like a man possessed as he engineered another jaw-dropping fourth-quarter comeback that may have saved the Vikings’ season.

The NFL veteran was very focused in the game as he  completed  36 of 47 passes with two touchdowns and two interceptions in easily his best performance of the season.

It was his first 400-yard game since Dec. 5, 1993, when he threw for 402 at Chicago as a Green Bay Packer.

Favre’s masterful performance Favre made him joined the ranks of Tommy Kramer and Joe Kapp as the Vikings quarterbacks with the most prolific passing games in team history.

On the losing side, Cardinals reliable quarterback Derek Anderson top-scored for his team as he went 15 for 26 for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Minneapolis native Larry Fitzgerald supported the strong game of Anderso for the Cardinals as he had seven catches for 107 yards, who had the ball first to start overtime.

Teams: Arizona Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings

The Cowboys will pay a visit to the Green Bay Packers on November 7 in hope of getting its second win in the current NFL season against the red-hot Packers.

The visiting team will have its hand full against the Packers who is seeking to retain its three-game winning streak against the Cowboys.

The game will be extra-tough for the Cowboys since they will be missing the services of superstar quarterback Tony Romo, who is suffering from a left collarbone injury.

Leading the way for the Cowboys in game is veteran NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, who will face a tough challenge against Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Although much older and less skilled than Rodgers, Kitna cannot be counted out in their match-up since the latter have veteran leadership and heart in the game.

In the Cowboy’s last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars where they lost 35-17, Kitna in first start since 2008 had a huge game, going 34 of 49 for 379 yards with a touchdown.

If Kitna can duplicate his solid game against the Jaguars, the Cowboys could upset and surprise the heavily favored Packers.

The home-team Packers for its part can avoid the upset axe if Rodgers can continue his solid game in the current NFL season.

Rodgers had been instrumental in the recent wins of the Packers, who is starting to regain its NFL championship touch this year.

Teams: Dallas Cowboys., Green Bay Packers.

Sporting a 4-3 win-loss record, the Redskins is favored to win against the struggling Lions who have a 1-5 record.

Having a superior record, the Redskins is expected to roll past the dangerous Lions, who themselves are hungry for a win.

To win against the host team and avoid an upset, Redskins veteran cornerback  DeAngelo Hall and nose tackle Albert Haynesworth should lead the assault of the visiting team.

Hall should play like a veteran, do some interceptions and spearhead his team to victory against the Lions.

Haynesworth for his part should work extra hard to stop Lions sophomore quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Despite being the underdog in the game, the Lions can still win and improve their record if Stafford can again have a great game against the Redskins just like what he did on September 27,2009.

As rookie quarterback last year and playing at home against the Redskins, Stafford had a nice game in their 19-14 victory against the visiting team as threw for 241 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions that day.

To win against the Redskins, Stafford also need to play hard and connive wonderfully with Lions reliable wide receiver Calvin Johnson,  who has 15 catches for 286 yards and three touchdowns over the last three games.

If both Stafford and Johnson have a great game, chances of victory is very possible for the host team.

Teams: Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins.

The Jaguars-Titans game is expected to be a heated and tight one as both teams are sporting a similar 3-2 win-loss record.

The two NFL teams are very determined to win their game since they want to solidify their chances in the forthcoming NFL playoffs.

Both the Jaguars and the Titans are eager to barged into the NFL playoffs this year since they miss their chance to participate in the NFL postseason games last year.

The game between the two is seen as an even game for bettors since any of them could beat each other if the luck will be on their side.

However, the fans of the home-team could steal the thunder in the game if the Jaguars will be more inspired to play agains them.

If the Jaguars wish to defeat the mighty Titans it should learn to get energy from its fans to topple their NFL AFC South rival.

Jaguars coach Jack del Rio is also confident of their chances against the Titans since he has in his arsenal dependable running back Maurice Jones Drew.

Drew is one of the top running backs in the NFL this year as he  tied for eighth in the league with 406 rushing yards, had 84 on 19 carries against Buffalo Bills.

Drew also ran the ball eight times for 177 yards and two touchdowns at Tennessee in November.

The Titans can win its game against the Jaguars if reliable quarterback Vince Young will once again have a great performance in their game.

As the fourth ranked team in terms of scoring at 26.4 points per game,the Titans can roll past the Jaguars if they will play their cards well in the game.
